Community Health

Hygiene and sanitation promotion is a firm commitment of the organization and all the children are being made aware of as well as facilitated by the project staffs. The adolescent girls specially had awareness programme on use of Sanitary Napkins and anyone who needed were provided sanitary napkins through this programme. The programme also sent out effective message to the community and parents also to support their daughters to practice sanitation and hygiene for a healthy life.

We conduct Health Camps focussing on women and children.Approximately 2000 women and 4000 children have benefited from health camps and community health interventions of NESWSD. Many women and children have accessed follow-up treatment from the government hospital after the primary check-up during the health camp.
